Fried Chicken Oaxaca Sandwich

Crispy, spicy and cheesy! What more could you want from a fried chicken and Oaxaca cheese sandwich?

  • 1 brioche bun
  • 1 piece fried boneless chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup Rizo Bros Oaxaca Cheese
  • 1/2 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Tapatio hot sauce
  • 1 Roma tomato
  • 1 half avocado
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Toast brioche bun until lightly crispy
  3. Cut Roma tomato into 1/4 inch slices
  4. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Tapatio and salt and pepper to taste
  5. In a another small bowl, combine 1/2 of Tapatio mayo and coleslaw mix
  6. Evenly spread Rizo Bros Oaxaca Cheese on top of fully cooked fried chicken
  7. Place in oven and cook until cheese is melted
  8. Spread remainder of Tapatio mayo on each side of toasted bun
  9. Slice or mash avocado and place on bottom bun
  10. Place cheese-covered chicken on top of avocado
  11. Top chicken with Roma tomatoes and coleslaw. Enjoy!
