Baked Garlic Panela Dip

Serves: 4-6
One of the best and most simple cheese dips for game day, parties, and holidays! There's nothing better than the combination of melty cheese and garlic.

  • 1 package Rizo Bros Panela
  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and lightly grease a baking dish big enough for the panela round.
  2. Place the panela into the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, cumin, and oil. Pour over the top of the panela.
  4. Bake for about 30-35 minutes until the panela has softened. 
  5. Spread onto toasted sliced bread.
