Baked Garlic Panela Cheese

Serves: 4-6
This warm baked Panela makes the perfect fall dip to go with pita bread.

  • 1 package of Rizo Bros Panela Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ΒΌ cup white onion (chopped)
  • Warm Tortilla Chips or Pita Bread


  1. Place Panela Cheese in Cast Iron or Clay style, baking safe dish
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic olive oil, red pepper flakes, oregano and onion
  3. Mix together until combined and top Panela cheese with mixture
  4. Bake at 400 degrees until hot and top has browned
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or pita bread
